Acid we hear you say? We get it, the word is a little intense and the thoughts of putting something so harsh on our skin is a bit nerve wrecking. We thought the same at one point but this beauty buzzword that’s been doing the rounds for some time now is, in fact, something all of us should be including in our skincare regime – and here’s why…

We’re putting our scientific hat on for this one. Hyaluronic acid (or HA) is actually in our skin already; it’s a substance our cells naturally produce that helps our skin to stay and hydrated. But, environmental factors and exposure that our faces face on the daily means these hydration levels don’t always stay where we need, or would like, them to and our skin can suffer as a result.
